Ayya Nammalvar was my inspiration to read this book. He references this book in lot of his speeches. I had this belief that this book all about agriculture but I was wrong. This is a Philosophical book and must-read for everyone. Masanobu Fukuoka with one-straw revolution raises questions about human beliefs, scientific knowledge, and our craze for specialization. He discusses do-nothing Farming, about nature and finally life as a whole. Fukkuoka argues that the collective intellect of human beings as of now is nothing. The more humans try to understand nature the more harm we are doing to us. We should start accepting that we are part of nature and life as such has nothing more than that.
